Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does EMS body sculpting feel like?
The electromagnetic stimulation feels like buzzing on your skin while your muscles are being contracted. And the radio frequency feel like using a heat pad. Both elements are individually controlled during your treatment to suit the desired outcome, as well as patient tolerance levels.
  • How long before I see results?
This varies from person to person, but most will start to see improvement 2-3 weeks after their first session.
  • Am I a good candidate for EMS Body Sculpting?
Almost everyone can safely benefit from EMS Body Sculpting. There are special considerations for those who have implanted devices, may be pregnant, or have a BMI over 35.
  • Is EMS Body Sculpting for weight loss?
No, EMS Body Sculpting is not intended for weight loss. Though it is a great addition to weight loss in order to prevent loss of muscle mass and loose skin.
  • Why did my Doctor tell me there is no way to fix neuropathy?
The most likely reason is that they simply don't know that options now exist. Regenerative therapy is relatively new, it is not taught in medical schools, and pharmaceutical companies spend billions of dollars per year ensuring that doctors continue prescribing their pills. Historically, there was no good way to treat nerve damage, and that became the "common knowledge" amongst doctors. And don't forget doctors are human too, one of the hardest things for us to do is to unlearn something we believe to be true. The reality is that most doctors today are overworked and understaffed. And in order to financially stay afloat while operating under health insurance contracts, they have to churn through as many patients per day as possible. So they don't have time to read scientific journals, research the latest treatments, or stay up to date on the latest technology. So if your Doctor told you there was no way to fix your neuropathy, they were not intentionally trying to make you lose hope. They likely have just not been educated to the latest treatment options.
  • How many treatment sessions do I need?
This varies from case to case, and a better estimate will be discussed during your Free Consultation, but the normal range can be anywhere from 4-10 sessions. The more severe and progressed your symptoms, the more sessions you are likely to need.
  • When will I start seeing results?
This depends on the severity of your condition and how responsive your body is to treatment. For example, people with mild/moderate chemo induced neuropathy usually notice improvement after the first session, while those with more severe or diabetic neuropathy generally take 3-4 sessions to start seeing improvement.
  • How much does treatment cost?
Cost will vary slightly depending on the exact nature of your condition. General pricing guidelines can be found on our pricing page. But an exact quote will be given to you during your free consultation, after a treatment plan has been developed.
  • Is this guaranteed to work?
As with anything regarding human health (medication, surgery, supplements, etc.), no one can guarantee a particular health outcome. There are far too many variables and unknowns at work, so the best we can give are estimates and historical results. But our historical results are good! With over 85% success in reversing neuropathy across the board, and some groups such as chemo induced neuropathy seeing effectively 99% success.
  • Does you treatment help with weakness in the legs?
Yes, we provide the option to add Electro-Magnetic Muscle Stimulation (EMS) to any Neuropathy treatment at a discounted rate. This technology uses magnetic fields to strengthen and condition muscle groups. Effectively giving you an intense leg workout while you lay back and relax!
  • Do you offer payment plans?
While we do not offer any in-house financing or payment plans. We do have some options for 3rd party financing that can be discussed during your consultation.
  • Are treatments covered by my health insurance?
Generally, No. Our treatments are considered elective and are usually not reimbursable by health insurance, though a small number of our clients have reported success getting reimbursed. We can provide documentation, upon request, for you to submit to your health insurance company.
  • How long before I see results?
Some men start seeing results after the first treatment. But for most, usually by the 3rd or 4th session they are seeing noticeable changes at home. This timeframe all depends on how severe your symptoms are starting out, and your bodies individual response to the therapy.
  • Why didn't my doctor tell me this treatment existed?
There are many possible reasons for this. Most commonly though, they simply don't know it exists. Due to the current state of healthcare in the US, most doctors are overloaded with patients and don't have time to stay up to date on the latest advances. Additionally, medical schools and continuing education courses are heavily funded by pharmaceutical companies, so treatment with medications are the primary focus of the care model those doctors learn about.
  • I use to take ED pills, but they stopped working. Will Shockwave Therapy work for me?
In most cases yes. ED pills stop working because the underlying issues tend to get worse over time. Our treatments help resolve the underlying condition, so we fix the actual problem not just the symptoms.
  • Do I have to abstain from sex through the treatment process?
No, there are no restrictions on sexual activity while undergoing treatment.
  • Im diabetic, will your ED treatment work for me?
Yes, in most cases. ED is common amongst diabetics due to the blood vessel damage that can occur with elevated glucose levels over time. Fortunately, shockwave therapy regenerates blood vessels and heals that damage. For best results we do recommend that diabetics have their A1C levels at 8% or lower prior to starting shockwave therapy.
  • Will this treatment affect any medication that I'm taking?
No, the regenerative therapies that we use do not have any drug contradictions.
